Financial Assistance to the Various LGU

As part of the effort to strengthen the treatment and rehabilitation programs under Executive Order No. 66, series of 2018 or the "Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS), DDB give financial assistance to various LGUs in support to their drug treatment and rehabilitation center programs. On the month of December of 2021, the Dangerous Drugs Board started the turnover of financial assistance to various LGUs.

On 10 December 2021 Five Million Pesos (Php 5,000,000.00) financial assistance was given to the Municipality of Sasmuan, Pampanga received by Mayor Nardo M. Velasco for the construction of community-based rehabilitation facility and isolation center.

Last 13 December, the DDB released 10 Million funding support for the DOH-CARAGA Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Regional Facility purposely to repair the damaged infrastructure caused by an earthquake. On the same date, The Municipality of Virac, Catanduanes receives funding support worth Five Million Pesos (Php 5,000,000.00) for the construction of their community-based rehabilitation center.

On 14 December 2021, Eight Million Pesos (Php 8,000,000.00) was given to the Department of Health - Treatment and Rehabilitation Center - Bauko, Mountain Province for the construction of Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DATRC) Out Patient After Care Building, DATRC Security and Inspection and Bauko DATRC Fence, Gate and Guardhouse.

16 December 2021 worth of Five Million Pesos (Php 5,000,000.00) was given to the Municipal Government of Maasim, Sarangani for the construction of Community-Based Rehabilitation Facility. And, the Municipality of Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas receives a financial assistance amounting to Six Million Pesos (Php 6,000,000.00) from the Dangerous Drugs Board for the construction of the community-based rehabilitation facility last 17 December 2021.Five Million (P5,000,000.00) Pesos of financial assistance to the Provincial Government of Cotabato last 20 December 2022 for the construction of the community-based drug treatment and rehabilitation center. The financial assistance was received by Ms. Lani Candolada, Provincial Administrator and staff of Cotabato. 

The turnover of financial assistance is in compliance with the implementation of Board Resolution No. 16, Series of 2021, dated November 8, 2021.
