National Drug Education Program Implementation of DepEd field offices and schools for the 2nd Quarter of 2022

In accordance with DepEd Memorandum No. 200, s. 2016 titled "Strengthening the National Drug Education Program in Schools," the Department of Education, through the Bureau of Learner Support Services - School Health Division (BLSS-SHD) regularly gathers monthly accomplishment reports of field offices and schools regarding the implementation of programs, projects, and activities for NDEP.
In the 2nd Quarter of 2022, there are a total of 177 NDEP-related activities conducted by School NDEP Coordinators and teachers. Highlighted NDEP activities include the following:
- Monitoring of the integration of Drug Education in learning modules;
- Conduct of regular NDEP coordination meeting;
- Distribution and installation of IEC materials for the National No Smoking Month;
- Designing and Monitoring of NDEP Corners in schools in preparation for face-to-face classes in the incoming school year;
- Slogan and Signage Making, including Poetry and Song Composition Events;
- Video Presentations on Drug Abuse and Prevention;
- Conduct of Division Search for Best Implementer for NDEP;
- Dissemination of Drug Awareness & Prevention Brochures; and
- Conduct of Orientation on Refusal Skills and Smart Choices.
