The Regional Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (RICAD) Advocacy Cluster, conducted on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, its CY 2023 First Quarter Meeting at Police Regional Office 02 Conference Hall, Tuguegarao City.

The activity, hosted by DILG, was presided by Assistant Regional Director Elpidio A. Durwin, CESO IV, the Chairperson of the RICAD Advocacy Cluster. It was attended by the different member-egencies from the PDEA RII, PRO2, LTO R2, PPA R2, DSWD FO2, DOH-CVCHD, DOH-DATRC, DOH-CVMC, PCG and DOJ RO2.

Presented/Reported during the meeting were the Regional Drug Situation, Supply and Demand Reduction Activities, and Recommendations from the PDEA. DSWD, PRO2, DOJ-PPA and DOJ also presented their accomplishments and updates on the implementation of anti-illegal drugs. DOH-DATRC also reported updates and activities conducted for rehabilitated PWUDs. And DC Maybelle E. Anog of DILG RO2 presented the Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) Program of the Department and the upcoming activities of the region for the BIDA Caravan, and solicited the support of the member-agencies in the implementation of the BIDA Program.
