This is also in line with strategic directions in the Basic Education - Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) of DepEd.
The participants to the webinars are the NDEP Coordinators, BKD Coordinators, teachers, health personnel, and other non-teaching personnel who are involved in substance use prevention.
Episode 4 of the NDEP Webinar Series was conducted on September 23, 2021, titled "The Implementation Cycle of Prevention Interventions." BLSS-SHD invited Mr. Little Jones Espeleta, Global UPC Trainer, as the speaker for the fourth episode of the series.
The topic for this episode is part of the core content of the Universal Prevention Curriculum for Managers and Supervisors (UPC Core). The objective is to describe the Implementation Cycle as a framework for implementation of evidence-based interventions. This serves as a guide in ensuring that drug prevention programming is anchored on the right processes and will be sustainable through properly identifying the implementation steps in each phase of the Implementation Cycle.
