DILG in collaboration with the Provincial Government of La Union, conducted a three (3) day Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration: Youth Camp/Leadership Training cum BIDAng 4K: Kabataan Kaagapay sa Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran cum Capacitating Urban Communities for Peace and Development (CUCPD) Program Implementation with the theme:"Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable world." on September 7-9, 2023 at Camp Laberinto, Brgy. Natividad, Naguilian, La Union.

Youth representatives, SK officials and members of Local Youth Development Councils (LYDCs) of La Union were the participants of the said activity. 

The activity aims to promote the different programs of the national government like Buhay Ingatan Droga'y Ayawan (BIDA) program which advocates drug prevention and rehabilitation programs and peace and development programs.

DILG Region I- Regional Director Jonathan Paul M. Leusen, Jr., CESO III, DILG La Union Provincial Director Regiie R. Colisao, CESO V and Hon. Nieri T. Flores, Municipal Mayor, Naguilian, La Union graced the activity alongside with Governor Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David as speaker and BGEN Ferdinand Melchor Dela Cruz, Battalion Commander, 501st BDE who served as guest of honor.

DILG LGMED ADC Leslie Isip and LGOO IV Bernard Ringor as speakers tackling about BIDA Program and Relationship of Anti-Illegal Drugs to Anti-Insurgency cum CUCPD on Day 2. Also, resource speakers during the 3-day activity includes representatives from PDEA Region 1, CHED Region 1, National Youth Commission (NYC), DOH CHD1, NICA Region 1, PNP Region 1, PGLU-PGENRO and PGLU-PSWDO.
